Solidarity Fund PL in Ukraine

Support of decentralized education – preparation of personnel for managing education in Ukrainian communities

The project was a response to the reform of decentralization of education management in Ukraine in combination with the establishment of united territorial communities. The newly created communities took on the task of managing education on their territory, received educational subsidies, organised a school network, and so on.

In 2016-2018, as part of the project, the Solidarity Fund PL arranged 13 visits to Poland for 180 community representatives from 14 regions of Ukraine and sent Polish expert practitioners to a national conference in Kyiv.

In 2019, the Fund organised 2 study visits to Poland for 27 education managers from Ukrainian communities and 4 interregional educational thematic conferences. The Fund also funded the printing of 2 methodological manuals for heads of educational institutions and school principals.
