The Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine project is implemented by the Solidarity Fund PL (Republic of Poland) in partnership with BGK (Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego) and the European Commission for the benefit of territorial communities that are victims of Russian aggression against Ukraine and/or help internally displaced persons.
During the implementation of the project, starting in April 2022, the Solidarity Fund PL purchased and transferred humanitarian aid goods worth 10 million euros to Ukraine. 189 communities in 22 Oblasts received 25 fully equipped ambulances, hundreds of defibrillators, artificial respiration devices, ultrasound and ECG devices, equipment for voluntary and local fire brigades, 20 thousand IFAK first-aid kits, more than 1000 generators, tons of long-term food, hygiene products, and other essential goods.
At the final stage of the project, the Fund will purchase and deliver a CT scanner to the Zhytomyr Oblast Hospital.
